| How to Remove a Carpet Spill and Stain |

1. For food spills, remove as much as possible by gently scraping the spill with a spoon then go to step 3. 2. For wet spills, blot the spill with white paper towels or white cloth towels. Blot from the outside edge of the spill toward the center to avoid spreading the spill and working the spill into the carpet fibers. 3. Remove the stain with a professional spotter solution (ask your Injoi carpet technician for a free bottle). 4. Rinse the cleaned area with water. This step is necessary to remove any residue that may become sticky and lead to faster re-soiling of the area. 5. Place several dry, white paper towels over the cleaned area to absorb any remaining moisture. Weigh the paper towels down with a heavy object. 6. When the area is dry, vacuum to lift the carpet pile. 7. If in doubt, call the professionals - don't risk damage to your carpets. |
